Temple - Anzani

Anzani was an engine manufacturer founded by the Italian Alessandro Anzani (1877-1956), which produced proprietary engines for aircraft, cars, boats, and motorcycles in factories in Britain, France and Italy.
Temple is a historic British brand motorcycle, the motorcycle rolled out of the OEC plant.Temple: Osborn Engineering Co.., Gosport, Hampshire (1924-1928).
After Claude Temple with a 996 cc V-twin had won many races, went under the name Temple also OEC series models. This however had a 496 cc Anzani "Vulpine" kopklepmotor or a 497 cc OHC-block-Atlanta (Atlanta-Duo also heard in the OEC group, the blocks were also built Anzani). The Temple since 1927 models were equipped with the "duplex steering system of OEC.
