1955 Triumph Pre-Unit Custom
.
I wanted to come back on this post I found on the excellent Bike-urious website. The pre-unit engine was rebuilt by Franz and Grubb and it includes Robbins pistons, Amal GP carbs, and a Morris magneto. The frame was done by the Factory Metal Works, who lowered and stretched it. Read more Here

The MotoLady Shop
.
The MotoLady, to tell you the truth, I was wondering what a website managed by a girl could look like, I know i'm a little badass. But following from the beginning Alicia's adventures I quickly realised this Lady knew what she was talking about, more than many of us including me. Alicia, beside to be a Photographer, Makeup Artist, Producer, Graphic and Web Designer is (what I prefer) showing us that Motorcycle and Lady is not antinomic anymore. To find out more of Alicia's world, the MotoLady Shop is now open for both women & men. Check it out
MotoLady was created by Alicia Mariah Elfving as a way to encourage current and aspiring women riders and replace the bad reputation the sport / hobby has racked up over the years with a positive sense of community. MotoLady is a website built for men and women motorcyclists alike. Those who appreciate women riders can find a massive amount of media here for daily distraction, education, and inspiration. Real women who ride, motorcycles in art, design and marketing, motorcycle fashion, gear reviews, industry news, one of a kind articles and features, and submissions are a few of the things covered. Alicia uses a her own photography, video, and design alongside the content of talents from around the world to give a rounded reflection of the motorcycle industry and culture around the world. Now the MotoLady Shop is Open visit and Enjoy

Pegaso by Tamarit
.
A couple of days ago Tamarit Spanish Motorcycles team (ex 8negro speed parts)send me these pictures of their last amazing built. After three wonderful years at 8negro speed parts doing what they love: making and selling their own parts only for Triumph , modifying their bikes and knowing all those people who have placed their trust in them during these years, it is time to introduce their new website and brand: Spanish Tamarit Motorcycles. It all started in front of some beers and one of their favorite conversations: Bikes. And after a few hours daydreaming about how their bikes would be, someone said: and why not making them ?.
Pegaso is a 2006 bonneville black carburetion, which we have made a real scrambler, as you can see in the picture all of it is made with their own parts.

Ehinger Kraftrad 1940 Knucklehead
.
Far from being a latter-day whim of jaded Harley owners, building bobbers and choppers is a genuine tradition of the motorcycling world. By the 1940s it had become de rigueur for enthusiasts to add a personal touch to a bike’s factory appearance by means of some visible interventions, as most famously portrayed in the archetypal 1953 biker movie The Wild One. Special Kompressor
.
Via the "Must Read" Weiss und Blau. When Walter Zeller retired from racing for BMW he was given a spectacular gift. The folks in the racing department had fabricated for him a one-off street legal kompressor. The motor was a pre-war sidecar lump. It was fitted to a custom tubular steel frame very similar to the RS54. Of course the requisite headlight and taillight were included. The story goes that Walter enjoyed the bike for several years before selling it to a school teacher who had lusted after the bike for quite some time.
