Dorian "Doc" Paskowitz is an American surfer. Paskowitz decided in the 1950s to become a professional surfer. Begining in 1972, he operated a surf camp focused mostly on young begining surfers, but open to all ages, where campers could live alongside and surf with members of the Paskowitz family. It is reportedly the oldest surfing camp in the United States. It is currently run by Dorian's son Israel "Izzy" Paskowitz, a well known professional longboard surfer. Dorian, his wife, and their nine children have been referred to as the "first family of surfing"..
