I was determined to get it out this year as it has languished for some time now. I brought it out for the May season opener at El Mirage dry lake and promptly got tossed out of tech! In all my years of racing thats the first time that happened to me. Very humiliating to say the least. They didn't like the handlebar set up and a number of other things. Changes were made and it ran in June and July. At the Sept. 13 meet it finally got into its stride and cranked off a 122.240 mph run for a 500 cc pushrod gas sidecar record. "
