Joe Craig Norton

.

by Silverdreamracer
It was designed by Joe Craig as a copy of the extremely successful Guzzis, but was nowhere near as low or light. It was never raced in anger as the Norton works effort folded in 1954, having ignored Geoff Duke's pleas to diversify and causing him to leave for Gilera. From memory it was nurtured by works mechanic Charlie Edwards, who was still around to assist when the components of the bike were reassembled into a runner many years later. via : forums.autosport.com
