The Rosenbaum House (1939-40) is the only structure in Alabama designed by Wright. It has all the hallmarks of his Usonian style designs - cantilevered carports and eaves, multi-level roofs, use of natural materials, and expanse of glass. Wright designed an addition to the house in 1948, adding two wings. The house contains the original Wright-designed furniture.
