Marc Newson is an Australian born industrial designer who has worked for companies such as Ford, Jaeger LeCoultre (on the Atmos 561), Dom Perignon, Quantas, G-Star Raw and his watch brand Ikepod.
His most famous piece is his Lockheed Lounge a riveted aluminium chaise longue which he designed shortly after he graduated in 1986 and one of which sold for $1.5 million at Sotheby's in 2006.
Marc now spends his time between London, where he has lived since 1997, and Paris.
