Adi, from Fit For a Queen, wrote in to say, "I was doing research for a project and I came across this picture you might like. It's of a woman from the Congo, whose type of hairstyle undoubtedly inspired Padme's hairstyle for the blue Senate gown in AotC." Which I thought was really cool, because it sure looks like Padme's headpiece, even to the use of the small braids at the top!.
