Patrick's BMW

.

I know i English bikes are my favorite but it has been a time when Germans knew how to design motorcycles and the Patrick's 1967 BMW R69S is a great example. Patrick did a great job on this bike and wanted to thank him for that.

Hi Frank,
This is my 1967 BMW R69S. I've been working on this bike for 10 years when I first picked it up in 2000. It features a large capacity Heinrich gas tank, Hoske pipes, aftermarket tachometer, auxiliary spot light, and was everything disassembled to powder coat the frame. Lots of small refinements including a clutch rebuild, new Bing carbs, cylinders bored next size up with new pistons and rings. I started riding and tinkering on vintage BWMs in 1987 with a 1968 R60/2US. My 2nd was a 1963 R69S. This 1967 is my 3rd vintage BMW motorcycle.
I am also a fan of vintage Vespas and own several GS160s.
I am the founder and chief designer for Triple Aught Design as well as Rocket World.
I went to college at US Santa Cruz and received my Masters Degree at San Jose State University.
I enjoy mountain sports from backpacking to snowboarding, traveling, archaeology, art and design, shooting and am also on the Board of Direction for the Zoo Conservation Outreach Group which is involved in wildlife conservation projects throughout the Americas.

Thanks again for the consideration and I look forward to the article!

That is mind-blowingly beautiful. All the little details are there and the period-correct aftermarket pieces suit it to perfection.
A *very* well done to Patrick
