This BSA Gold Star, a factory-prepped Daytona Beach special, was provided to BSA’s western states distributor Hap Alzina, who put it in the hands of rider Albert Gunter for the 1957 200-miler, held on the old beach course. “Slidin’ Al” made the most of the opportunity, setting fast qualifying time then finishing second in the race to Harley-Davidson’s national champion rider Joe Leonard.Place Bid :
