John Mellor is a talented big gun shaper and send me these few words and picture.

John Mellor here. You don't know me. I just happened across your blog and thought I'd check in to say I like it.

I don't currently have a motorcycle but one wouldn't have to be an owner or rider to appreciate some of the stuff that's going on in the custom world. I really like Franck's custom 650 Triton.
Of course, Scarlett Johansson... well, let's just say nice choice!

Being a surfer and surfboard builder, I checked out the "Surfing" section and was surprised to see photos of my friend Guilhem Rainfray in a couple of shots of the Surfing Art Seignosse Shape by Shapers 2010. Guilhem and I shaped and glassed boards for each other last year and while he was visiting the west coast we exchanged boards. It was very surprising that with no prior knowledge of what the other was doing, we shaped nearly identical boards for each other.
