The « Fondation Zinsou » opened in Cotonou, Benin in 2005. Throughout the last four years it has grown from an exhibition centre for contemporary African artists both in size and ambition. Today, the Foundation’s action has come to span artistic, cultural, educational and social domains.
Promoting African artistic heritage is at the heart of the project along with education, development and the reduction of poverty. The method we seek to apply is that of “test actions” which can then be copied and expanded with the help and sponsoring of both businesses and individual. Fondation Zinsou's blog
