1952 Delahaye 235 Chapron Coupe

.

This beautiful Delahaye 235 features coachwork by Henri Chapron.

The Delahaye 235 followed the pre-war 135MS. Only 83 of the 235's were built in their production run from 1952 and 1953. These cars had bodies built by Henri Chapron, Letourneur et Marchand, Antem, Franay, De Villars, Saoutchik, and others. In 1952 the 235 broke the record from Le Cap to Algiers in Africa. Its top speed was 182 kms per hour. Its gear box is a Cotal electromagnitic. The car is powered by a 6-cylinder, 3557cc, 152hp engine.
