Rex Marsee Bike Projects

.

Harley-Davidson employed Rex Marsee in late 1973 as the Project Engineer for the MX-250 motocross bike. John Ingham and some other engineers had taken front forks and mounted them to the rear swing arm of the bike which increased travel to seven inches from the normal four inches or so of travel that prevailed at the time. From Harley-Davidson's factory in Varese, Italy they took a 250cc.
