My friend Brian "Spoo" Spour is a self taught artist/photographer, originally from the North East of England but currently in Sydney, Australia. Always loved, art/design/architecture/photography and loved the idea of creating something from 'a blank page'. Admired many,many artists/photographers, Hockney one of favourites, Henri Cartier Bresson in photography but again many, many more...(the list will be long)
He has only been concentrating on his art this last 5/7 years when his 2nd wife encouraged him to do so. Went through b&white sketches/clean line drawings, abstract /contemporary, some 60's style pics i.e Hockney and designed some logo's for T shirts amongst other things,as he said there's hundreds!! Worked previously as a 'travelling salesman' but now just really concentrating on his work as the "struggling artist" waiting to be noticed! (And then there's the b&w photography but that's another thing for another time!)
