The Louveira is a multifamily residential building located in Plaza Vilaboim in the neighborhood of Higienopolis in Sao Paulo. It was designed in 1946 by architect João Batista Vilanova Artigas and Carlos Cascaldi and is considered an important representative of modern architecture in the city. The work is characterized by the composition of two parallel plates, one with seven and the other with six floors and mediated by a landscaped courtyard. The deployment provided the visual integration of public and private space, assimilating Vilaboim the square, which is opposite to the inside of the building.
