The Morris is a 125' Ex-Coast Guard Cutter. Built in 1927, she was designated WSC-147 and was commissioned to chase rum-runners off of the Pacific Coast. She had a long Coast Guard history, finally decommissioned in 1970. Since that time, she has been in the Sea Scout Program. Source
