Available on US military bases, the early Seiko Divers, particular the 6105, were Popular with US soldiers in Vietnam. The 6105 would become a combat watch long before 1979 when Martin Sheen, as Captain Willard in “Apocalypse Now”, wearing a 6105-8110 while traversing the NAM into Cambodia and its highlands. - Thanks Wayne
