Peterbilt Cabover

.

Peterbilt Motors Company, founded in 1939, is an American manufacturer of medium- and heavy-duty Class 5 through Class 8 trucks headquartered in Denton, Texas. Cab-over, also known as Cab Over Engine (COE), cab forward (U.S. English), or forward control (British English), is a body style of truck, bus, or van that has a vertical front or "flat face", with the cab of the truck sitting above the front axle.

I dig all the hand painted lettering on the trucks. You will notice there seems to be a particular style / font similar on all the trucks and the use of the gold or silver foil in the lettering is another style indicative of that period.
