The 24 Hours of Montjuïc was an endurance motorcycle race held between 1955 and 1986 at the Circuit de Montjuïc in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The event was organised by Peña Motorista Barcelona in early July and was also known as the 24 Hours International of Montjuïc or 24 Hours of Motorcyclists of Montjuïc. Throughout its history, the test has achieved great international prestige, since 1960 scoring for the Endurance Motorcycle World Championship in its various denominations, until in 1982 there was a boycott by the main teams and that the FIM withdrew it from the championship from 1983 considering that the circuit had become obsolete. Despite everything, the 24 hours continued until 1986, when a tragic accident led to its definitive cancellation. From 1995 racing resumed, this time at the Circuit de Montmeló as the 24 Hours Motorcyclists of Catalonia.
