This is the only surviving example left in the UK and the only other known to exist is in Japan; this machine has a detailed documented history pretty much from new; the donor machine was a genuine 1967 Thruxton and machine was built by Ralph Seymour in 1973 (registration is JDP 3L) after the donor machine was crashed; Velocette allowed Seymour to call these machines Velocettes.See also : www.velocetteowners.com

The first roadster Seymour metisse, registered August 1972, still belongs to the original owner in the UK
