The idea of making furniture from used parts started about 10 years when I visited the Prodrive factory but then I went to University and never really thought about it again till now. I was recovering from a series of operations and the idea came back to me. So from parts I had around the workshop I came up with these designs and then decided that people if they wanted to could pick the colours. So that's how the custom part of it all started. Due to the strict laws in the UK on lighting the design took a while to finalise.
