Berlin Architect Thomas Kröger converted this old barn, in Fergitz on the west bank of the lake Oberuckersee, into a holiday apartment for four people and a main house that can also be rented as a holiday home for up to eight people. The rooms are grouped on two levels around the central hall of the barn. Glazed walls provide views to the wooden structure of the hall and a monumental fireplace. When the big barn doors are opened the boundaries between interior and exterior space disappear. Via : trendland.com
