Monocle is a "global briefing" covering an eclectic mix of current affairs, business, culture and design. As well as the print publication there is also a weekly podcast on iTunes and a daily "Monocolumn" on their website. Monocle was launched in February 2007 by Tyler Brûlé (founder of Wallpaper* magazine and Financial Times columnist). With 10 editions a year printed on quality paper stock with excellent photography, it is well worth subscribing to, if only for the inviting to their fun parties and nice tote bag.
